Dog Friendly Places to Visit | Broadway Market
Broadway Market is a Victorian street market situated in Hackney, East London and a wonderful dog friendly place to spend an afternoon with your dog. In addition to the thriving Saturday markets on both Broadway Market and at Netil House, there are independent shops, cafés and restaurants open seven days a week from dawn to dusk.
Plus situated next to the beautiful London Fields park, it makes for the perfect place to spend a sunny Saturday with the dog.
Broadway Market
During the week, Broadway Market has a quaint village feel, packed with fantastic restaurants, coffee shops and pubs. However, it’s on a Saturday that this road really comes to life, as the market becomes the real star. Stretching all the way down the street, this food-lover’s market is as much about seeking out quality food as it is about soaking up the relaxed atmosphere – with a freshly grilled burger in one hand and a chilled ice coffee in the other.
Stalls range from delicious desserts with a twist on the classics, including the Meringue Girls and Crosstown Doughnuts, to katsu chicken wraps and unbelievably good tuna burgers from at Fin & Flounder. If the sun is shining, a stop at Nonna’s cycle kart for some homemade gelato is a must. Spices, cheeses, breads, rare-breed meat, handmade pasta and olives are all present – it's hard to imagine the need to go anywhere else for your weekly shop. The only issue you have is trying to figure out what to eat and from where.

Pavilion
If you’ve ever been to Victoria Park for a dog walk then you’ll have seen the pleasant café that sits on the water’s edge, which is part of a lovely family of cafes around East London, popular for their artisan bread, pastries, fresh coffee and food alike. While we love the Victoria Park outpost, we tend to go to their original location on Broadway Market, when out with the dogs. In addition to enjoying their drinks and menu offering, we sometimes like to treat ourselves to one of their lovely store cupboard supplies such as seasonal jams and peanut butters.
Pavilion is open from 7am to 3.30pm Monday to Friday and 7am to 6pm Saturday and Sunday at 18 Broadway Market, E8 4QJ.
Artwords Bookstore
When out for a stroll with your dog it's hard to walk past the windows of Artworks Bookstore on Broadway Market and not want to head in. The magazine and book-filled shelves are dedicated to the creative and visual art world.

Aesop
Their objective has always been to formulate skin, hair and body care products of the finest quality; they investigate widely to source plant-based and laboratory-made ingredients, and use only those with a proven record of safety and efficacy. The interior was devised with a private home in mind; accordingly, its modest materiality and furnishings could sit just as comfortably in a residential setting.
