Dog Friendly Places to Visit | Columbia Flower Market
Columbia Road and surrounds
The Columbia Road neighbourhood is a dog-friendly area where we really enjoy spending time during weekdays and weekends. We love going to Haggerston Park and its little forest surrounded by the funniest animals from Hackney City Farm. Haggerston Park is enclosed with walls and gates, which makes it the ideal park for puppies and older dogs learning how to go off-lead.
Pavilion Bakery
What can we say…we love a good croissant and coffee combo on our way to the park with our best furry friend and no Pavilion venue has ever disappointed us! Indeed, we love Columbia Road Pavilion Bakery just as much as the Victoria Park one which has a great food and coffee offering. It always welcomes dogs, so you know where to get your hot drink and pastry fix when around this area.
Open 7 days a week for sourdough bread, pastries and take away lunches as well as take away coffees, chai and teas.

Campania
Campania & Jones is a southern Italian restaurant is hidden just behind Columbia road located on Ezra Street serving traditional dishes from the region. Focusing on the region, cooking old and new dishes from the south of Italy. Good quality seasonal produce is vital for a perfect dish and they strive to always find the best ingredients from local suppliers and small producers. They also have an amazing takeaway deli selection if you find the dog is tired after all the flower shopping.

Shopping
In addition to the flower market on a Sunday, Columbia Road is dotted with 60 independent shops, including art galleries, cupcake shops, vintage clothes stores, Italian and English delis, garden and antique shops. Our favourites are Straw London, which has a beautifully curated selection of vintage straw bags and baskets alongside vintage homeware. We also love We are Arrow run by Tatiana who makes stunning jewellery inspired by the natural world. It’s also worth popping into A New Tribe on Hackney road (just behind Columbia Road) which offers a globally gathered curation of hard to find beautiful objects for your home.
Ozone Coffee – Roastery, Coffee Bar and Eatery
If your heading to Columbia road from Cambridge Heath station or London Fields, your need to pay a visit to Ozone Coffee located on Pritchards Road. Their menu is created in the endeavour of sustainability and whole-cycle cooking with the intent of maximising healthiness without sacrificing flavour. The coffee is fantastic, and the brunch drinks are a must for any late weekend breakfast.
