Ginger & Lemon Iced Tea
3 Rooibos Tea Bags
Thumb size piece of fresh ginger | peeled and sliced
Fresh lemon juice and peel from 1 lemon
1 Large Glass Jar
Add all of the ingredients to the jar and fill with cold water – Leave overnight in the fridge to infuse. Strain and serve over ice. For added sweetness you can add a teaspoon of honey once strained
Both of the above recipes can also be made using the ‘Sun Tea’ method. Simply follow the above instructions but instead of placing the tea straight into the fridge, use the power of the sun to work its magic. Leaving the mixture to brew in direct sunlight for two hours. This can then be drunk straight away over ice or this can be stored in the fridge until needed.
