Dog Treat Recipe | Be My Valentine Dog Cookies
One day, a dog found my heart and in that moment I knew I was changed forever. This Valentine’s day why not make your dog these delicious homemade honey and banana cookies to thank them for all the love, laughter and joy they bring you, all year round.
Honey is fantastic for dogs as it is naturally packed with nutrients, including Vitamins A, B complex, C, D, E and K. Honey also contains calcium and magnesium.
Oats contain a high proportion of easily digestible protein, which is great for dogs who are sensitive to wheat and other grains.

INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat the oven to 180C/160C fan/gas 4 and line a baking tray with non-stick baking paper.
Mash the banana into a smooth paste and stir in the honey.
In a bowl sift together the flour and cinnamon, then add the oat bran.
Add the banana and honey paste to the dry ingredients and using your hands, start to combine the ingredients to form a dough, adding water if the mix is too dry.
Lightly flour a clean surface.
Using a rolling pin, roll the dough to the same thickness as a pound coin.
Take your cookie cutters and begin to cut the dough.
Place the cut dough onto the lined baking tray, making sure to leave 1cm gap between each.
Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden and no longer soft to touch.
Transfer to a wire rack and leave to cool. Please make sure the biscuits are completely cool before giving to your dog!
