Easter Egg Hunt Dog Treats

Ingredients

• 2 cups oat flour
• 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
• 1/4 cup mashed banana
• 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
• 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
• 1/4 cup shredded carrots
• 1/4 cup shredded coconut (unsweetened)
• 1/4 cup chopped parsley (for freshness)
• 1/4 cup chopped fresh mint leaves (for freshness)
• Easter-themed cookie cutters (egg shapes, bunnies, carrots, etc.)
• Parchment paper

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine oat flour and ground cinnamon.
3. Add in the mashed banana, unsweetened applesauce, and honey or maple syrup. Mix well until a dough forms. If the dough is too dry, add a little water or more applesauce.
4. Fold in the shredded carrots, shredded coconut, chopped parsley, and chopped mint leaves. Mix until everything is well combined. This will add a fresh taste and texture to the treats.
6. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 1/4 inch thickness.
7. Use Easter-themed cookie cutters to cut out shapes from the dough. Place the cut-out shapes onto the prepared baking sheet.
8. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the treats are golden brown and firm to the touch.
9. Once baked, remove from the oven and let them cool completely on a wire rack.
10. Once cooled, your Easter Egg Hunt Dog Treats are ready for your furry friend to enjoy! These treats can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two weeks.

Hide the treats around your house or yard for a fun Easter egg hunt with your dog. They’ll love searching for these delicious and festive treats!
